Carpentry has many meanings but to sum it up in one sentence. Carpentry is the art of shaping and assembling structural woodwork.
OTVS students will learn about various building materials, their grades and features, including lumber, millwork, windows, doors, fasteners and adhesives. From there, OTVS carpentry students will learn a complete set of working drawings and floor plans, perfecting their craft. We also provide the students with free entrepreneurship classes, learning the business side of the industry.
Plumbers install and repair water, gas, and other piping systems in homes, businesses, and factories. They install plumbing fixtures, such as bathtubs, toilets, and appliances, such as dishwashers and water heaters. They clean drains, remove obstructions, and repair or replace broken pipes and fixtures.
OTVS plumbing instructors teaches students how to installs, repairs, and maintains piping, fittings, and fixtures involved in the distribution and use of water in a building.Students will learn leaks prevention and how to run piping throughout a home or commercial building.
Student will also learn floor plans and blueprint reading.
For many people, electrician trade school is the first step to becoming an electrician. This is especially true in states that do not require an apprenticeship for licensing.
At OTVS our instructor will help you make the decision by giving you the basic skills you need to make that choose.
During electrical trade school, you will learn key skills you will need as an electrician, as well as knowledge about current, voltage, resistance, AC and DC power, and other electrical concepts. You will learn about wiring, motors, and electrical controls.

Agriculture School
A Welder, or Brazer, is responsible for assembling pieces of metal together or repairing damage in metal components using heavy machinery that emits high heat, melting the metal into shape.
OTVS welding instructors are experienced professional who likes meeting challenges and surpassing board of education expectations. OTVS student will learn interpreting designs, monitoring machinery, and assessing welded components and floor plans. Our student will learn mig, tig and stick welding as well as learning gas/gasless welding.
The main purposes of a Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system are to help maintain good indoor air quality (IAQ) through adequate ventilation with filtration and provide thermal comfort.
